Scope

A very important tool for the study of Dynamical Systems is Bifurcation Analysis. This allows to interpret, in a global way, the relationship existing among all solutions of a given dynamical problem.
In this respect, Celestial Mechanics has provided from a long time ago an excellent benchmark, making possible relevant advances in this area of knowledge. Moreover, it has been shown that there is a connection, more direct than could be expected a priori, among those developments and similar ones in some applications in Atomic and Molecular Physics and Engineering. In addition to this, some authors have also unveiled recently the importance of bifurcations in quantum mechanics, and how they manifest when this level of description of the physical processes is used.
Taking all this into account we decided to organize the present workshop with the aim of bringing together some leading experts on the various aspects of this field which could give a broad perspective and update on the issue.
